Privacy Policy
Plain English: we collect the minimum we need, we don't sell your data, we don't use it for marketing, and you own what's yours. Here are the details.
You own your data. We don't sell it, we don't rent it, and we don't market to you via SMS. The only texts we send are operational alerts you explicitly opted in to. You can export, edit, or delete everything you gave us — anytime.
01Overview
Ktechhq, LLC ("Ktechhq," "we," "us," or "our") provides web technology and AI services, including automation tools that may send text message (SMS) alerts. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
By using our website, products, or services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to the terms of this Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.
02What we collect
We collect the minimum information needed to operate the Services. Specifically:
- Account information — name, email address, organization, and authentication credentials you provide when you create an account or contact us.
- Phone number — only if you explicitly opt in to receive SMS alerts. We never collect phone numbers passively or from third-party sources.
- Usage data — basic information about how you interact with the Services (pages viewed, features used, timestamps, IP address, browser type) for security, debugging, and product improvement.
- Content you submit — the content of messages, files, or inputs you provide so we can deliver the services you requested.
- Support communications — anything you send us when you contact support, including emails and chat transcripts.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information such as government identifiers, payment card data, or biometric data through this website.
03How we use it
We use the information we collect only for purposes you would expect:
- To deliver the Services and any SMS alerts you have opted in to.
- To authenticate you, prevent fraud, and keep the Services secure.
- To respond to your questions and support requests.
- To send important service notifications — like security alerts, terms changes, or critical outages. These are not marketing.
- To improve the Services through aggregated, de-identified analytics.
- To comply with applicable law.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, sell you things, or train third-party AI models on your content.
04Your data, your ownership
Anything you put into Ktechhq — your account info, your phone number, your message content, your usage history — belongs to you. We hold it on your behalf and act only as a custodian. You can export it, correct it, or have it permanently deleted at any time.
This means, in practice:
| What | Your rights |
|---|---|
| Your account data | Export as JSON, edit, or delete anytime. |
| Your phone number | Edit or delete anytime. We will not contact you again after deletion. |
| Your message content | Stored only as long as needed to deliver the service. Exportable on request. |
| Your usage data | Aggregated or de-identified whenever possible. You can opt out of non-essential tracking. |
| Deletion requests | Honored within 30 days, no questions asked. |
05Sharing & third parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Period.
We share information only with carefully selected service providers who help us operate the Services, and only the minimum needed for them to do their job. These include:
- Infrastructure providers — cloud hosting, databases, and content delivery.
- Communications providers — the SMS delivery partner that routes alert messages to your phone. They receive only the phone number and message body needed to send your specific message.
- Form handling — FormSubmit.co, which forwards contact-form submissions to our team email. This is a no-account, encrypted-in-transit service.
- Analytics — privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics (if used). No personal identifiers are sent.
We may also disclose information if required by law, valid subpoena, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of Ktechhq, our users, or others.
06Cookies & tracking
We use a minimal set of cookies and similar technologies — only what's needed to keep the site working and to remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may break some site features but won't prevent you from using core services.
07SMS communications
Our Services may let you opt in to receive SMS alerts for automation events (for example: a build completing, a job failing, a scheduled reminder). When you opt in:
- You give us express written consent to send SMS messages to the number you provided, in accordance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
- You confirm you are the account holder or have the account holder's permission for that number.
- We will never use SMS to send marketing, promotional, or sales content. SMS is reserved strictly for operational and transactional alerts you have signed up for.
- You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, by updating your account preferences, or by emailing us. See our SMS Terms & Conditions for the full program rules.
08Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — fix anything that's wrong or incomplete.
- Deletion — have your data permanently erased.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Opt out of sale or sharing — even though we don't sell, you can formally opt out under CCPA/CPRA.
- Withdraw consent — for SMS, emails, or any optional processing. See our Communications Opt-In Policy for details on how verbal and written opt-ins are captured and revoked.
- Non-discrimination — exercising your rights will never affect the quality of service you receive.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@ktechhq.com. We respond within 30 days.
09Security
We protect your information with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed for the sensitivity of the data. These include encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, strict access controls, and continuous monitoring.
No system is 100% secure, but we work hard to minimize risk and respond quickly to incidents. If we ever have a security breach affecting your personal data, we'll notify you as required by applicable law.
10Data retention
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the Services or to comply with legal obligations. When you delete your account, we erase associated personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, tax records or fraud prevention logs).
11Children
Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in some jurisdictions), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we'll delete it promptly.
12International visitors
Ktechhq is based in the United States. By using the Services, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States. We apply the protections described in this Policy regardless of where the data is processed.
For users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate legal bases for processing (such as your consent or our legitimate interest in providing the Services) and respect your rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR.
13Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. If the changes are material, we'll give you notice (for example, by email or a banner in the product). Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
